This year I have chosen to cycle the maximum Ride Cincinnati distance of 64 miles and I’ve set a goal to raise $50 for each mile for a total of $3,200. I’ve made my contribution of $200 to get things started and need your help to raise the remaining $3,000. For each level of $1,000 reached up to $3,000, I’ll add another bottle of Bourbon to my giveaway.

For each increment of $25 contributed, you’ll receive an entry into the drawing of those who donated to my ride by 9/14/2024. Recipient(s) will be drawn on 9/15/2024 and I will arrange pickup/delivery with the winner. Good Luck to all those who contribute to this great cause!



At 1 month old, my life was impacted by cancer. My grandmother, Rosalie Gruden, was in the fight for her life when she learned that her first grandchild was on his way. She was determined to meet me and see that I was Baptized. She accomplished those goals but lost her battle with cancer shortly thereafter in September 1981 at the age of 59.



Cancer steals away moments from us that we might have had with loved ones. By funding cancer research, we have the chance to fight back. Advances in medicine allow us to reclaim days, weeks, months, and potential years of life in which we have the opportunity to make those moments.



I will never have the opportunity to have memories with my grandmother, but we have the ability to give those fighting cancer along with their parents, spouses, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues chance at those moments. To honor the determination of Rosalie Gruden to fight cancer and to help those still fighting, I’ve set a goal to raise $3,200 for Ride Cincinnati.



Ride Cincinnati is a grassroots organization funding cancer research through a community of passionate fundraisers and a weekend experience of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism.
