I ride for my son Zachary who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2011 at the age of 7. He endured 3 years chemo, a week of radiation, several stays in the hospital and countless needles. Thanks to neighbors, friends and family who helped during treatment and those who helped make sure he was not alone at any doctor’s appointment after his treatment. I’m happy to say Zach beat cancer and will be turning 21 next month. I ride not only for Zach but all others who have battled this disease and all the doctors, nurses, families and friends that play a key role in this fight.
