This year, I'm riding to support my dear friend John "LJ" Hadden who was diagnosed with brain cancer in May and recently completed 30 rounds of radiation. His courage and positive attitude are an inspiration to all who are battling cancer. I also ride in memory of my mother-in-law Gloria Pasco, who died from cancer last spring, and my mother Olga, who died of leukemia more than 50 years ago. Cancer research and care has made great strides in the past half-century, but more work needs to be done, and your contributions help immensely.
